Cayenne Engineering is currently seeking a creative, motivated, and technically proficient Designer /
Architect with demonstrated capabilities in design and production. Previous experience working in
an architecture firm is preferred and the ability to work well under time constraints in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment.
Your Role
As a Cayenne Plumbing Project Engineer, you will collaborate with our architects, engineers and
directors to develop innovative design solutions and work on a variety of projects in various stages of
design and construction. You will be successful because you know how to provide out of the box
solutions for technical issues when they arise. You will support various practice areas, such as
residential, educational, retail, and other commercial facilities. Bring your strong work

What You Will Do
• Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic
design, design development, construction documents
• Develop plumbing scope, specifications and direct drawings productions including riser
diagrams, both planning and design stages for various projects
• Design of plumbing systems including sanitary, vent, natural gas, domestic cold, hot, hot
water return system and pumping systems
• Perform Plumbing engineering calculations such as pipe sizing, water heater sizing,
pump sizing and selection
• Review drawings and specifications that have been developed in-house or by an outside
A&E firm to ensure compliance with regulating codes and standards
• Collaborate with design teams, clients and consultants to meet project objectives and
deadlines
• Understand and execute ‘red marked’ revisions

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Basic understanding of electrical power system voltages
• Minimum 2 years of related project experience
• Proficiency in modeling using 2D/3D such as CAD and Revit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including excel
• Knowledge of International Plumbing Code and Uniform Plumbing Code
• Well organized and possess an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in English language (oral and written)
