Medical Director for A Group International Hospitals – Aden is considered one of the best and largest hospitals in Aden Yemen. The hospital was designed to accommodate 120 beds at its full capacity, and now it actually runs 95 beds where we serve all age categories.
We are looking for highly organized candidates with extensive experience in both medical and management roles. The Medical Director is responsible for recruiting, retaining and training healthcare physicians, ensuring that all staff adhere to safety standards and delivering the highest quality of medical care.
The Medical Director is expected to act as a mentor to their physicians and medical staff, requiring good leadership qualities, patience and confidence.

Responsibilities:

The Medical Director:

 Is responsible for the administration of all clinical departments, programs and services at the hospital facility.

 Assures the delivery of quality patient care and meets all standards of accreditation
 In collaboration with hospital leadership, recommends and establishes standards for evaluating and continuously improving the quality of patient care for all patients and programs.

 Is responsible for the development and review of all clinical policies and protocols.
 Directly provides leadership to, manages and supervises the clinical departments
 Assures the appropriate utilization of personnel within the clinical departments and programs.

Qualifications:
 MD
 10+ years’ experience in medical practice with progressively responsible leadership experience.
 5+ years’ medical staff leadership experience.
 Hospital Quality Management experience and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
 Excellent communication skills.
 Effective leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
