Description:
As an at home Software Tester, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest technologies available in your country. This role is suitable for those in full/part time employment as the work can be completed in evenings/weekends.
The main tasks include:
- Testing of localized products (hardware / software)
- Review Test Plans / complete Test Cases for applications released on Mobile, PC and Internet platforms.
- Log bugs found during test
Key Skills:
- Native Speaker with fluency in English (both verbal and written)
- Reporting skills in Word and Excel
- Background in Software testing across different platforms (mobile, desktop)
- Experience of using bug logging tools
- Experience in Software/Hardware configurations
- Ability to work well on own initiative
- Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and deliver Quality results
Equipment Requirements:
- Broadband access
- Access to recent hardware (desktop/laptop)
- Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Mobile phone
- Ideally a spare PC will be needed to install a test operating system. Minimum System specification requirements of this spare PC would be:
o Processor: A duo\dual core processor minimum
o X86 (32-bit) , X64 (64-bit)
o 2 GB (for 64-bit) RAM
Hard disk: 20 GB (32-bit) or 30 GB (64-bit) free space
o Minimum Spec Machine: Vista or Windows 7 [Windows XP is not compatible for this specific project]
- If a spare PC is not available another option is to use a dual boot scenario on a PC for which we will offer a setup instruction document
