The Role
• The individual will perform a variety of tasks and will use a wide degree of creativity, while being flexible and having a can-do mentality while problem solving.
• Ability to troubleshoot applications quickly and effectively.
• Ability to conduct Technical Geospatial Training.
• In addition the Specialist / analyst will be expected to provide General GIS support for a broad range of current and future projects, including identification and management of High Conservation Value Areas for planned development projects.
The Must Haves
• Minimum Three or more years of experience supporting in the geospatial industry, preferably in software.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Geography or any relevant field.
• Familiarity with geospatial technology standards, OGC.
• Programming knowledge in: JavaScript, HTML, SQL, RDBMS, .NET, Java, Python
• Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills.
• Time management / multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Establishes and maintains productive working relationship with internal and external contacts. Must be able to work in a team environment and share knowledge.
The Nice to Haves:
Ability to manage solution using the following tools:
• HEXAGON Geospatial Technology (GeoMedia).
• Oracle Database PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL. Experience in enterprise software implementation strongly desired.

• GIS/geospatial and web mapping experience strongly desired.
