Job Description
This role is primarily responsible for promoting GLT's Commercial services, gaining new clients, maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients, and achieving set sales targets.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop sales campaigns to identify and draw new leads in last mile and cross border deliveries
- Analyse industry trends and help develop services that address market demands and identify new market opportunities
- Create sales plans and identify new sales opportunities to successfully expand the existing accounts by upselling and cross-selling
- Directly engage with leads including conducting daily sales calls
Ability to Manage, Update, Follow ups & effectively Resolve conflicts with clients
- Consistently meet/exceed defined sales targets
Ability to Maintain excellent relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
- Keep abreast of developments in various sectors of the last mile delivery market and closely watch and report on industry updates
Prepare significant periodic reports
- Ensure all sales activities are conducted within the company's policies and code of business ethics
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other relevant field
- Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in freight forwarding/shipping/logistics solutions
Your Proficiencies
- Up to date knowledge of freight forwarding/logistics market, industry, and sales strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and business writing skills with fluency in English and Arabic
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to produce analytical reports
- Efficient in MS Office
- Planning and time management skills
