Job Description
• Supervise the commissioning activities under his responsibility.
• Ensure liaison with Project (construction and pre-commissioning) and Company Operations team.
• Ensure quality in the execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning by contractor.
• Conduct meeting with contractors, consultant’s designers and owners to review testing and commissioning progress on daily and occasionally frequent basis.
• Analysis and address critical areas of progress/delays in testing and commissioning.
• Ensure the setting up of safety and precautionary requirements.
• Participate in pre-construction Engineering reviews and project planning.
• Participate in management of change for engineering and construction of the project.
• Follow construction progress and participate in solving construction and installation problems.
• Supervise vendors.
• Arrange to prepare a check list of jobs after a pre-commissioning run and ensures their progressive clearance.
• Manage all aspects of pre-commissioning, commissioning and operation checkout, through initial energizing, startup of the new process and associated systems.
• Ensure that allocated commissioning systems reach milestone targets in due time as per schedule, and considering multi disciplines vision.
• Supervise pre operational, operational and load performance activities.
• Complete reliability run and performance test as per the client’s request.
• Manage facilities performance test in line with design parameters.
• Participate in tuning all controllers to get units to optimum performance.
• Produce and submit of all work permits relating to commissioning and operation activities.
• Plan 'on site' activities and allocation of available manpower on a daily basis.
• Make on-site training for client engineers.
