Job Description
Perform research, data collection, economic, statistical and demographic analysis using
professionally accepted techniques and methodologies.
• Compile and analyze various economic, community and real estate information research for
prospect proposal packages and presentations (labor force, tax, utilities, quality of life,
community/state incentives, & real estate).
• Perform or manage contracts for various types of research on competitiveness (regional
comparisons, industry analyses, case studies, etc.) for initiatives and companies considering
the county as a location to do business, or for communities needing materials to support
RFPs.
• Provide data and information to support the creation of collateral materials and for other
marketing message delivery mechanisms such as website.
• Create, design, and format maps in ArcGIS and utilizes ESRI tools and information for
internal and external distribution.
• Create, write, analyze and edit quarterly real estate snapshot reports for Hamilton County
and various submarkets

- Experience in ERP system (Oracle).
Knowledge: Data mining, mapping, and business analytics. Working knowledge of databases
and information extraction preferred. Familiarity with economic development issues, local
government structure, and/or civic agency operations preferred.
Experience: At least three years of relevant work experience required. Prior experience with GIS,
economic impact analysis or business development a plus.
Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational, planning, problem
solving, quantitative, and project management skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite and high
technical aptitude, with the ability to learn new software programs.
