• Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment
• Ensure that a building or product complies with health and safety regulations, especially after an inspection that required changes
• Install safety devices on machinery or direct the installation of these devices
• Review employee safety programs and recommend improvements
• Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and site processes
• Review plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to make sure they meet safety requirements
• investigate accidents or injuries to determine their causes and to determine whether the incidents could have been or can be prevented
• Training people in carrying out the correct health and safety procedures
• Writing safety plans and reports

• BSc in Mechanical /Civil engineering
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience of safety standards and legislation for 220/66/22 kV Distribution s/s, OHTL and UG cables, or relevant field
• System safety testing skills
• Hazard management skills and dealing with a safety problems
• Willing to keep up to date with advances in technologies in that field
