Job Description
-Under the general guidance of the executive Pastry Chef the Pastry Chef De Partie role is to assist him in preparing the pastry menus.
-Trains and supervises the Junior Pastry staff.
-Prepares pastry for special orders, buffet presentation, VIP parties, and other one-off duties when required.
-Prepares daily requisitions for supplies and pastry items.
-Checks and controls the proper storage of pastry products .
-Allocates tasks to maintain high effectiveness in assigned section of the pastry
-Checks grooming (personal hygiene and uniforms) of the pastry team members according to the Company standard.
-Enforces compliance of subordinates with all health, hygiene and safety regulations.
-Cleans and carries out inventory of walk-in and reach-in boxes on a daily basis.
-Keeps all refrigeration, equipment , storage and working areas in clean working condition in compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
-Ensures pastry sanitation, and hygiene according to standard.
-Reports any equipment in need of repair to superiors.
