Job Description
•Receive the purchasing requests from warehousing department and creates requisitions for the items, and manages approval process.
• Researching pricing obtaining quotes on low value and best quality.
• Follow up the execution of the purchasing orders.
• Tracks orders and confirms system lead times, delivery dates, quality, and costs.
• Provide the financial department with any changes in the prices of materials.
• Responsible for appropriate supplier selection processes for selected purchase requests.
• Responsible for handling negotiations with the major suppliers.
• Responsible for resolving invoice price and terms discrepancies to enable order processing.
• Responsible for the foreign purchasing producers.
• Responsible for coordinating with the financial department in opening LCs.
• Providing routing information and issuing shipping instructions to ensure deliveries arrive on time and to their correct location.
• Preparation of invoices ensuring shipping costs are calculated accurately.
• Prepares reports on procurement activities as needed.
