Job Description
carpets, textiles sales or Home appliances experience is a must
-Dealing with customer queries and complaints.
-Overseeing pricing and stock control.
-Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so.
- Organizing all store operations and allocating responsibilities to sales staff.
- Preparing and controlling the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
- Monitors stock levels and purchases and ensures they stay within budget.
- Inspects the areas in the store and resolves any issues that might arise
-Plans and oversees in-store promotional events or displays.
-Keeps abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store.
-Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts.
-Ensures the store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
- Supervises employees, providing coaching and mentorship to optimize productivity and increase sales
-Plans and execute specials and promos, including year-end clearance sales.
-Maintains current knowledge of market/trends
-Analyses and predicts sales, and sale trends to make informed decisions.
-Maintains inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with vendors and shippers
-Develops a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year strategically designed to bring in more revenue
-Works with vendors and manufacturers to bring in effective marketing displays for the sales floor and store windows
-Manages all controllable costs to keep operations profitable
