Faragalla group was founded in 1973 by Eng. Mohamed Farag Amer. The group is considered to be one of the biggest, and most diversified food companies in the Middle East. Its industrial complex covers 500,000 sqm at “New Borg El-Arab city”, consists of 28 factories, all of which are ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control point) certified. In addition, the Juice facility is FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) approved. Currently operating across 8 main categories – Juice (glass and Tetrapak), Milk, Confectionary, Bakery, Grocery (tomato paste, jams, processed cheese, chicken stock, and instant juice powder), processed Meat and Chicken, and frozen vegetables – the group is represented by 3 separate food processing companies:
1- The Egyptian company for freezing and beef processing,
2- The Egyptian food company, and
3- The Egyptian Company for Food Development
Faragalla products serve the local market, export markets, and renowned international brands and food retailers who choose to come and contract manufacture their products at our production facilities. More than half of the production capacity is being used to serve clients in the US, Western Europe, The Middle east, and Africa, in addition to global brands.
