Review / assess technical specification, BOQ and drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers. Prepare procurement schedule showing way of accession, nominated subcontractors and planned budget. Prepare subcontractors and suppliers packages and Issue requests for quotations to qualified vendors as per project approved vendor list. Review vendors and suppliers quotations to determine best price and deliver date. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimum cost-quality & ensure target prices, companys terms and conditions are met. Prepare comparative analysis documents related to specs, price, delivery conditions and mode of transportation. Issue Technical Submittals, Compliance sheets, Method statements for consultants approval. Prepare & review LOIs, Purchase Orders & Sub Contracts and negotiate the terms to reach the optimum agreement. Ability to analyze and evaluate all purchasing requisitions to ensure clarity and completeness in description of material and equipment. Responsible for managing supplier performance in terms of quality cost, delivery, and responsiveness. Follow up the procurement life cycle starting from issuing the subcontract /P.O ending by site safe delivery, installation & handing over. Act as liaison between Subcontractors & Consultant for any queries clarification & managing any work interfaces and enhancements to project scope. Tracking and managing Change Orders. Review subcontractors & Client Interim Invoices to insure proper alignment with BOQ & Subcontracts. Detailed planning and reporting activities related to procurement. Coordinate various technical reviews with projects and end users with demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relations as a team member.
Bachelor degree in engineering (Mechanical). Excellent negotiations skills. 4 to 6 years of experience at least in Purchasing. Good reporting skills. Team player, task focused, flexible and proactive. Large projects experience. Experience in ERP Systems
