Job Description
•Motivate, organize, train and monitor teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
•Schedule and assign staff to effectively and efficiently accomplish work results within schedule timeframes and within quality specifications to meet customer needs.
•Communicate with other departments, staff groups and customers to ensure available areas and scheduled times for shipping local & foreign products, delivery and current & future stock.
•Control stocks and process/delivery orders.
•Ensure quality of delivery (process & products) to customers and budget objectives are met.
•Carry out responsibilities for the use of automated/computerized systems
•Search for, Contract, respond to and deal with logistics/transportation and maintenance
•Monitor and plan products and racking layouts.
•Keep stock control systems up to date and plan future capacity requirements.
• Perform regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required.
•Brief warehouse personnel on the issues of the day-to-day work.
• Visit customers to monitor the quality of service they receive.
•Create and Control maintenance plan of vehicles, machinery and equipment
