Description and Desired Qualifications
The principal function of this position is to manage the design interfaces and the work carried out by Halcrow design teams in Mumbai, UAE and the UK and the sub-consultants, which are mainly based in Mumbai.
The priorities of this role include:
Planning of design deliverables and programme control
Co-ordination of design activities and interfaces
Design parameters definition and control
Quality assurance and control
Client liaison
Management of design teams, which include: Marine structures,Coastal engineering and processes,River works,Geotechnical engineering, Infrastructure works, Utilities and services, Buildings (architecture, structural and MEP), Plant and equipment (eg cranes).
Basic Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:
آ· A minimum of 12-15 years experience in design and management of engineering projects.
آ· Experience in a similar role as a design manager, engineering manager, project or package manager for a reasonable size multi-disciplinary infrastructure development project
آ· A high level of understanding and appreciation of the design processes in multi-disciplinary projec
