Job Description
We are currently staffing up for one of our Iraq based project, the work rotation is 8 weeks / 2 weeks, We offer a competitive salary package. Accommodation, meals and transportation during work rotation in Iraq will be provided by the Company. During the 2 weeks rotation leave, employees will travel back to their point of origin with tickets provided by the company. Employees are covered by the company’s comprehensive Medical and Life Insurance scheme. This opportunity is open for both expats and local candidate.
Key basic function and scope include:
Prepare and send daily Paint Inspection report to conform to relevant standards and report must get to Corrosion Engineer. Report should clearly show overall work breakdown, completed scopes, QA/QC results, outstanding scopes, challenges, forward plan and recommendations.
Prepare quarterly reports to present to stakeholders, major breakthroughs, challenges and look ahead for all projects under your control.
Create and maintain a sub-folder in the MI folder where all official documents per your job function are kept for references and use by others.

Key qualifications for this position include:
Diploma Degree in corrosion & Materials Engineering or equivalent from accredited university or institute.
Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years onshore/offshore painting inspection and application experience including five (5) years of site experience.
Shall have basic good knowledge and understanding of Coating Tools/Equipments.
Ability to work in remote areas with less Supervision.
Should have very good communication skill.
Shall have basic computer knowledge to include good use of MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point
Ability to create or develop a work breakdown structure (WBS).
Shall have good knowledge of contractors’ pre-mobilization process.
Shall have good knowledge of all protective coatings and solvents.
Shall have the ability to ensure that acceptable conditions and methods for coating application are utilized by the contractor, and also have detailed knowledge of the standards for surface preparation and detection of defects.
Shall have good knowledge of proper handling, transporting, and storing requirements for protective coatings and related materials per the manufacturers’ recommendations and CNL Coating specifications/standards.
Shall have effective logistics coordination skill with sufficient planning ability.
Good command of written and spoken English, Strong oral communication skills. Knowledge of the Arabic language is PLUS.
Previous working experience in Iraq and understanding the culture in Iraq is PLUS.
