Marks & Spencer, part of Al Futtaim Retail, is a globally recognised retail brand offering stylish, high quality, great value clothing and home products as well as outstanding foods.

With 25 Stores currently located across the GCC including locations in the UAE, Oman, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar there is further growth planned with an additional four stores to open in 2013 to further strengthen this exciting brand within the Middle East market.

We are currently looking for a Accounts Executive to join our Finance team in Amman, Jordan. In this role you will be responsible for:

*Verifying of store Petty cash reimbursement vouchers for all M&S stores including Regional office and certifying the same inline with DOA and SOP

*Analyzing logistics expenses account and maintaining a monthly schedule for the same

*Data maintenance and updating logistics expenses account and assisting the management accountant in monitoring logistics costs

*Reviewing expenses accounts for the month and passing necessary accrual entries and maintaining accrual schedules

*Raising Local Purchase orders and completing Goods received notes for capital expenditure

*Updating capital expenditure cost by project and keeping track of payments

*Coordinating with Stores & Retail Finance on Insurance related matters in relation to declaration, claims, settlement and accounting

Job Skills
To be successful in winning this role, you should have a Bachelors in Accounting / Financial Management or equivalent and be able to demonstrate:

* Minimum 2 years of experience in similar or related role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong computer skills - including ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) and advanced MS-Excel knowledge
* Good analytical, presentation & reporting skills.
* Good organisation, time management and administrative skills
* Must have a feel for figures in business environment (preferably retail)
* Flexibility and willingness to multi-task
* Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment
