Job Description
This opportunity is based in Sohar Oman, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance.

As a dual functional role this position will be split between maintenance and automation where you will be responsible for ensuring optimal functioning of the company’s assets.

Main responsibilities will include the performance of maintenance activities, providing technical guidance to staff and process optimisation for efficient operation. In addition you will be required to advise management regarding quality control, best practice of manufacturing and HACCP (Hazard analysis and critical control points).

The successful candidate will be required to research new technologies and maintenance solutions for industrial plants and implement improvements in software control and automation.

Job Skills
The successful candidate should have:

7-10 years of relevant experience.

An Engineering degree.

A strong background in maintenance of heavy machinery, good analytical skills and knowledge
of safety and security procedures.

Demonstrated leadership ability

Experience in developing and evaluating maintenance and automated processes.

Excellent spoken and written English skills.
