We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our valued customers. Your exceptional driving skills, attention to detail, and strong customer service abilities will contribute to our continued success in providing excellent service.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle, such as a van or truck, to transport goods to customers within designated routes
Review delivery orders and ensure accuracy and completeness of the items to be delivered
Load, unload, and secure items in the delivery vehicle, following proper handling procedures
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
Plan and prioritize delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery schedules
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service during the delivery process
Collect payments and issue receipts, as required
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, signatures, and any discrepancies or customer feedback
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies and procedures
Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly to the appropriate channels

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as needed
Familiarity with using GPS devices or navigation apps
Basic math skills for cash handling and maintaining delivery records
Punctual, reliable, and able to meet delivery deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent
