As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your exceptional interpersonal skills, organization, and ability to multitask will contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon their arrival
Seat guests and provide them with menus, ensuring efficient table rotation
Assist in managing reservations and coordinating seating arrangements
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area
Manage waiting lists during peak times, offering guests accurate wait time estimates
Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance as required
Monitor and address any guest concerns or special requests
Collaborate with team members to create a positive and cohesive work environment
Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle guest inquiries
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Knowledge of basic restaurant operations and reservations systems is an asset
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
