Responsibilities:

1. Technical & project management responsibility for infrastructural projects related to industrial parks

2. Co-ordinate & work closely with relevant consultants in developing a master plan for each of the industrial parks

3. Define, propose, and oversee all capital investment projects, and coordinate with Management Accountant in monitoring such projects

4. Total responsibility for projects from initial concept through to design, tendering, issuing of contract, and eventual completion

5. Establish strong working relationships with all external entities that impact on the development of industrial parks

6. Co-ordinate with Business Development personnel to understand the potential client base being attracted to the parks

7. Keep in dialogue with Engineering Operations reference investor projects and the impact these may have w.r.t. infrastructural requirements

8. A strong necessity to engage in all technical issues related to the successful definition and completion of projects

9. Maintain a philosophy to create a park that embraces; ‘a place to work, live, and play’

10. Will be required to keep abreast with the various developments within the profession

1. Civil engineering degree from a reputable university

2. Very effective and practical project management skills

3. A very strong working knowledge of CAD packages and project management tools

4. A demonstrable working knowledge of the technical challenges related to industrial parks in the Middle East

The RAK Investment Authority (RAKIA) was constituted as per Emiri Decree No. (2)/ 2005 issued by H.H. Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
